MARE

The aim of the MARE project was to promote the sustainable use of natural resources, namely lubricating oils and petroleum, with a life-cycle approach in order to decouple the environmental impact of economic growth with regeneration and the recycling of waste oils and petroleum residues into a “new product” instead of extracting further resources. The project started in September 2011 and was completed in August 2014, was implemented by a consortium of 2 partners and funded by the program “ECO INNOVATION 2010” under a grant agreement no. ECO/10/277237/SI2.598032.
